The Art Institute at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum promotes conservation of the Sonoran Desert region through art classes, art exhibits and stewardship of the museum art collection for visitors from around the globe and Southern Arizonans alike.

The Art Institute offers education by expert instructors in an unparalleled serene desert setting. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, you will hone your artistic skills while enhancing your connection to the desert and its inhabitants.

ABOUT THE ARIZONA-SONORA DESERT MUSEUM

 

The mission of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is to inspire people to live in harmony with the natural world by fostering love, appreciation and understanding of the Sonoran Desert.

 

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a zoo, natural history museum, botanical garden, art gallery, and aquarium located in Tucson, Arizona. It features 2 miles of walking paths traversing 21 acres of desert landscape, and is home to more than 230 animal species and 1,200 kinds of plants.
