Every day of oil painting should be an adventure, an exploration into techniques and understanding. This class welcomes students of ALL levels (beginners and experienced) to delve into techniques and spend three days in an intensive study of color (terms, theory, blending and relationships). We’ll begin with studies in white, then neutrals (with desert scenes) and add more colors on the last day. Enjoy the alla prima method as we review compositional basics and focus on color while painting still lifes and landscapes in oil.
