Gourds have historically been used by people to carry water or hold food or other items.  They are part of our desert tradition.  In this class we will turn them into amazing works of art that sit on your table. They come in a wide variety of sizes and shapes and can be carved with sharp tools or a dremel, wood-burned, dyed, laced and inlayed with all kinds of amazing stuff. Learn about the vast variety of gourds, and techniques to sculpt them into your own unique works of art.
