Gourds were used by indigenous people to carry water or hold food or other items. They are part of our local history. But today they are turned into amazing works of art that sit on your table. They come in a wide variety of sizes and shapes and can be carved with sharp tools or a dremel, wood-burned, dyed, laced and inlayed with all kinds of amazing stuff. Learn about the vast variety of gourds, and techniques to beautify them into your own unique work of art.
