When we treat our natural handwriting as an art-form, the ordinary magically transforms into the extraordinary. We will explore a brief history of decorative handwriting and how it has influenced the beautiful artistry of hand lettering today. We will pull together the skills of the past with a much simpler, and achievable modern approach, ultimately bringing you to the point of recognizing and activating your unique font for use on the art canvas. If you’ve ever had ‘handwriting envy’ and wished you could add lettering to your artwork that matched the skill level of your piece, this is the class for you. Learn the skills to render your own natural lettering style as an artful addition to any project you desire.
