The emphasis of this class will be the ‘why’ rather than the ‘how’ of the creative process. So much wildlife art is brilliant in its execution, while simultaneously sacrificing narrative in a challenging endeavorto accurately reproduce an image of an animal. Guy will reach further by delving into the poetry of the wildlife experience, and how he distills his encounters into a striking image that tells a story. This will include the fieldwork process, the image editing process, and the steps involved in translating reference into a painting.
