Published illustrator and now fine artist, Sylvia Shanahan, shares her vast knowledge and takes the fear out of oil painting, both abstract and representational, with a step by step approach. Learn ways to start an oil painting and when to use materials including cold wax, colored grounds and additives. Tips and tricks will be demonstrated each class including design principles, the power of color and other insights. Students will work from their own reference materials or ones provided by the instructor.
