Mosaics for the Absolute Beginner

This class is for the absolute beginner who wants to explore the basics of mosaic art. You will create a small hummingbird mosaic, primarily using scrap art glass, which is helpful if you have hand strength issues. You will learn the “direct method” of mosaics, as well as basic mosaic terminology and techniques and Apply glass tesserae to the pattern and grout the mosaic.. All tools and materials are provided.
NOTE: Aprons are highly recommended. No open shoes or open food or beverage containers…Glass can fly everywhere
