You will learn the direct method of mosaics, as well as basic mosaic terminology and techniques. All tools and materials are provided. For returning students, the instructor will offer other designs (lizard or butterfly). You learn to Use mosaic terminology and basic glass shaping techniques. Follow a process to create your mosaic, primarily using scrap glass. Apply glass tesserae to the pattern and grout the mosaic. And remember, the class is about learning the method! NOTE: Aprons are highly recommended. No open shoes or open food or beverage containers…Glass can fly everywhere!
