Narrative painting has been a style of painting for hundreds of years. The first session will focus on examples of narrative painting in history with a slide presentation. Such subjects as what constitutes a narrative painting and how one goes about starting such a work. The final four classes will give students the opportunity to paint a story of their own with an emphasis on the positive. Acrylic will be the medium.
