Nature Journaling: Sonoran Color

Explore the spectrum of the Sonoran Desert in both the written word and watercolor or colored pencil sketches. This class is designed to heighten your senses to the color that surrounds you that is often is unnoticed and under-appreciated. We will have some classroom discussion and demos, but the majority of the time will be spent on the museum grounds exploring, recording and contemplating the stunning diversity of color found in our precious desert. A small accordion sketchbook will be provided to record your discoveries in. Prerequisite: Some Natural Journaling and watercolor or colored pencil experience suggested but not required.
