Back by popular demand, this workshop is perfect for the absolute beginner or for a painter trying oils for the first time. This introduction to oil painting class covers everything you need to know to get started. In three days, Ada Koch will cover basic terminology, essential techniques, color strategies, composition and perspective. You will complete several paintings with confidence (Desert Museum themed still life and landscape) and leave with successful first oil paintings and an enthusiasm to continue painting on your own. Returning Ada Koch participants are also welcome to join and will be given time to work on more advanced projects.
