Get started with pen and ink. Learn basic strokes that will assure your success in this medium. Concentrate
on the three major strokes the pen can deliver: stippling, cross hatch, cross contour—then take on some
new ones! Learn how to develop value and contrast as you recreate the effects of light and shadow on form
and surfaces. Once you learn these easy strokes you’ll be ready to tackle any subject in pen and ink.
