Friday, Saturday, Sunday 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
$175 museum members/$225 nonmembers

Beginning with anatomy basics that will interest artists, we'll examine physical characteristics including form and function of many distinguishing traits. We shall compare varied coloration and physical adaptations that allow them to survive and flourish. A close-up view of live birds in the classroom will enhance our study of form, balance, and movement. Our investigation will include slides, specimens, as well as the engaging avian ambassadors from the Desert Museum! Prerequisite: Pencil I or equivalent
