Create your own one of a kind, vibrant Prussian blue prints. Cyanotype is an ancient photographic printing technique known for its rich blue hues. This process involves coating paper or fabric with a light-sensitive solution which will react with sunlight. Compose your own stunning blue prints using botanicals, found objects, or photographic negatives. Whether you are a seasoned artist or a curious beginner this workshop blends science and creativity. We will experiment with wet cyanotype and embellishing with gold leaf and watercolor. No prior experience is necessary. By the end of the workshop you will have a collection of stunning personalized cyanotype prints to take home and the skills to explore this fascinating art form.
