"Integrate your drawings into a unique accordion artist book inspired by our beautiful desert using beautiful Western and Japanese papers. With both drawing and painting, collage, rubbings and photocopy transfers, participants will develop imagery that evolves and progresses: imagine “reading” a fluid progression of images within your book. From the specific interpretation of a single subject (such as birds or?) or the sequencing of many (varieties of creatures or a shift from day to night?), emphasize the connections as you explore working with narrative content. You can incorporate poetry and writings or keep it to beautiful imagery only. Your imaginative and fluid progression of images within your own hand bound artist book will capture the visual poetry of the desert!
