Think Outside the Box: Sculpture

Bring your found objects and create a three-dimensional work outside the box! This exciting introduction to the third dimension will be a time travel into creation. You will be learning alongside Lori Andersen to see what is already within your imagination to create sculptural visions “outside” the limitations of two-dimensional Art. This class will provide basic sculptural concepts and supplies like a starting point box and interesting materials, but please look around you for your treasures that you may want to include, that special rock, shell, feather, bead, photograph that is in your heart to keep but has no special place in your home. You will be creating a reliquary for your treasures that will change their context into icons for our inner vision. This will provide you a look within to find your artist’s desire to manifest in this 3-D art form.
