Tucson Pastel Society Exhibition at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum | Tucson, Arizona

Both a juried art exhibition and competition, the Tucson Pastel Society brings over 80 pieces to the Ironwood Gallery, showcasing more than 25 of Tucson’s most accomplished pastel artists.

From landscapes, structures and still life, to portraits and abstraction, this exhibit captures each artist’s inspiration to create original art using a traditional medium in a modern world.

One desert-themed collaborative piece featuring interpretations of a shared subject will be featured. This final work will be for sale during the show and the proceeds will benefit ASDM and the TPS.

The Tucson Pastel Society (TPS) is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization established to advocate and promote the pastel medium, uniting pastel artists, organizing professional development and artistic growth opportunities and increasing awareness of the versatility and value of pastel fine art within the community.
