"Sonoran Reflections" Art Exhibit Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum Volunteers

THE MEANING OF THE DESERT TO

MUSEUM VOLUNTEERS

Monday – Friday  |  9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Baldwin Education Building

Artistic narratives by the volunteers vital in letting Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum’s local and global visitors experience the Sonoran Desert. With a passion for the region, 365 days a year, rain or shine, they nurture the surrounding beauty, amplify conservation efforts, and bring the desert’s voice to life. Sonoran Reflections lets visitors experience the desert through our volunteers' eyes and their creations.

This exhibition was organized by Jenny Palmer, a museum Mammalogy & Ornithology keeper, as part of her Master’s Degree studies through Miami University of Ohio online. The program, Project Dragonfly, has been around for 20 years and has reached millions of children, parents, and educators.

Entrance to the exhibit is included in museum admission or memberships.
Museum tickets must be reserved in advance.
