Step into the wild heart of the Southwest in this unforgettable three-week photography adventure, where curious critters take center stage and your camera—whether a smartphone or DSLR—is your passport to creativity. Each week, expert handlers introduce a cast of skunks, porcupines, parrots, rattlesnakes, Gila monsters, desert tortoises, and more. Students will capture compelling portraits using studio lighting on backdrops or in natural desert settings. Perfect for all skill levels, this course offers a rare chance to develop your artistic eye while getting up close to our region’s most charismatic—and sometimes quirky—wildlife.
