Andrew Denman

Andrew Denman

Andrew Denman is an internationally recognized, award-winning contemporary wildlife artist.  Denman primarily paints wildlife and animal subjects in a unique, hallmark style combining hyper-realism with stylization and abstraction. His dynamic and original acrylic paintings can be found in museum collections on two continents and in numerous private collections in the USA and abroad.  His clear voice, unique vision, and commitment to constant artistic experimentation have positioned him on the forefront of an artistic vanguard of the best contemporary wildlife and animal painters working today.

Andrew Denman began teaching at the age of thirteen when a Junior High School Art teacher asked him to co-teach an afterschool art class for grade-schoolers at a local art store.  Discovering a natural aptitude for working with budding artists, he continued to teach group classes until the store closed some years later, by which time he was offering regular private art instruction to a number of talented children and teens.  Denman still gives private lessons to artists of all ages and has also taught large groups in a workshop setting, most notably in 2006 when he was the featured acrylic painting instructor for the Annual SKB Foundation workshop in Wyoming.  Additionally, he has delivered numerous lectures on art and art marketing at a variety of venues in the US and abroad.
