Drawing on the Dark Side, or in the Middle

We’ve made dark marks on white paper our whole lives. Some have been exposed to techniques that make white marks on black. This class meets both worlds “In The Middle” as we work on mid-toned paper, using one dark colored pencil and one light, filling in both ends of the value scale, letting the mid-toned paper fill in the middle values. We’ll be working with a collection of fascinating Sonoran Desert Seedpods. Or you’re welcome to bring your own favorites as well.
