How does one express the shape, texture and color of our Sonoran Desert mesquite, palo verde, and ironwood trees without drawing every little branch and leaf?  Join us for an "in the field" art experience as we learn to draw and paint the etheric quality of desert trees.  We will begin with an in-depth examination of scientific details and growth patterns and then evolve into an exploration of how to capture an expressive image of the tree within the desert landscape using economical markmaking of elegant simplicity. Pencil, pen and watercolor, mixed media.
No prerequisite... All Levels welcome.
