If you've tried oil painting, you know. It's one of the hardest to learn but the most rewarding. In this class, Sylvia Shanahan shares her techniques in painting landscapes, cacti and florals. Both abstract and representational will be demonstrated with a step by step approach. Learn ways to start a painting and when and when not to use additives.  Color theory, composition and best practices in oils will also be covered. Students can bring their own reference materials or ones provided by the instructor.
