An Exhibition of Works from the Art Institute Faculty

2020
CONSERVATION THROUGH ART EDUCATION

August 1 - November 1, 2020

Ironwood Gallery

Nestled within the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, ‘Conservation Through Art Education’ has devotedly flourished in the Art Institute’s classrooms season upon season since 1998. True to Founder Priscilla Baldwin’s vision, our nature-focused art and photography classes inspire students to embrace conservation while developing their artistic skills.

Highlighting diverse expertise, the Conservation Through Art Education Exhibition unifies the voices and methods of the Art Institute Faculty. From scratchboard to photography, mosaics to mixed media collages, a botanical illustration installation and more, messages of conservation fill the walls of the Ironwood Gallery.
