Eligibility
Open to all participants enrolled in a minimum of one Art Institute art or photo class from October 2025 ‒ September 2026. Entered artwork must be created within the last 2 years and not have been previously
shown at the Desert Museum. Any medium or theme that reflects your personal style will be accepted.

Artworks do not need to be connected to or made during an Art Institute class. Submission Requirements
- Framing, Media, Size & Presentation

• Participants may submit 1 piece of original art in any medium.
• No side may be longer than 24" (frame included).
• Art must be framed, wired, stable and ready to hang. Sawtooth hangers are not acceptable.

- Labeling of Art
• Art must be labeled on the back with the artist's name, title of piece, medium, date artwork completed, and sale price or NFS (not for sale). Each piece must be signed by the artist (front, back, or frame).

Sales
Art for sale is strongly encouraged. When sold, the Art Institute will retain a 20% commission and forward a check to the artist for the remaining 80% within 30 days of the show closing
