Fall 2025 Student Exhibition

The Art Institute at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is proud to present the Fall 2025 Student Exhibition, showcasing the creativity and talent of our students. Celebrating the growth of artists at every stage, from those just beginning their studies to graduates of the Nature Art Certificate program, this exhibition reflects artistic achievement and the richness of our desert home.

Through expert instruction and hands-on learning in the serene desert environment, students have developed their artistic skills while fostering a love and appreciation for the natural world. Whether exploring the intricate details of desert botanicals or capturing the majesty of local wildlife, these works are a testament to the Museum's mission of promoting conservation through art. The diversity of work on view is a direct reflection of the breadth of classes offered each season at the Art Institute, where instruction combines technical skill with an emphasis on personal expression.

For many of our students, this exhibition marks an important milestone -- whether it is mastering a new medium, sharing work publicly for the first time, or completing the rigorous Nature Art Certificate program. This fall, two students will be recognized with their certificates, and a portfolio of their work will be exhibited alongside the wide range of art created by their peers. Together, these works celebrate individual growth within a vibrant community of learners.

Eligibility

Open to all participants enrolled in a minimum of one Art Institute art or photo class from October 2024‒ September 2025. Entered artwork must be created within the last 2 years and not have been previously shown at the Desert Museum. Any medium or theme that reflects your personal style will be accepted. Artworks do not need to be connected to or made during an Art Institute class.
