Students are taught three basic knots, with time between each lesson to experiment and create new stone wraps using their newly learned techniques. This hands-on approach encourages creativity and allows everyone's imagination to flourish.
Each student receives a kit that includes a gift pouch, a needle, and 10 additional yards of leather cord to continue creating after class. I also provide a large selection of wrapping materials, including leather, paper cord, cotton cord, and hemp, along with a variety of embellishments to personalize each piece.
For shared use during the class, I supply nippers, awls, glue, and double-sided tape for those who prefer not to use cyanoacrylate (crazy) glue.
And, of course, there are stones—lots of stones! By the end of the class, students typically create six to eight beautifully wrapped stones to take home.
